Rare theatre event to kick off Kids Week in the West End with Jamelia

 

The Rare team enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon at The Duchess Theatre this week on 14 July 2009 to celebrate the opening of the Kids Week in the West End booking lines. It is a fantastic annual children’s theatre initiative organised by the Society of London theatre with whom we have had the pleasure of working with for the last few years.

 

BBC London covered the launch again this year with an exclusive interview with Kacey Ainsworth from Carrie’s War and then other press joined celebrity mums Jamelia and Lisa Faulkner at the event where they were treated to an exclusive performance of We’re Going on A Bear Hunt, The Tiger Who Came To Tea and an appearance by The Gruffalo himself!

 

Sales for Kids Week rocketed in the first day with over 20,000 tickets sold, so get in on the act quick and snap up the free kid’s theatre tickets and exclusive workshops on offer during Kids Week (14 - 28 August 2009) www.kidsweek.co.uk

    Rare MD Louise invited to speak at Doug Richard’s School for Startups

    Our Rare MD Louise Drabwell attended The British Library on Friday 25 September to speak at ex Dragon Den’s, Doug Richard’s School for Startups programme. Louise took part in this advanced seminar on marketing speaking about how PR can be strategic and far more creative, and shared her own experiences in consumer PR, followed by a Q & A session.
