The BBC’s pre-school hit In the Night Garden has just a finished a cinema promotion, with a second leg planned for later this year.
The initiative ‘Your Child’s First Cinema Experience’ was organised by specialist kids and entertainment PR agency Rare Communications, which was selected by BBC Worldwide for a second time to promote the BAFTA award-winning programme.
The first series of screenings took place last month, with Rare organising a celebrity and press screening. Pictured at the event is the BBC’s Terry Wogan with In the Night Garden author and composer Andy Davenport. Further screenings are planned in November 2009 and early 2010.
The In the Night Garden campaign included three sets of fortnightly screenings across 18 selected Picturehouse Cinemas and featured one of the episodes from the latest In the Night Garden DVD Look at That!‘
